"I really enjoyed the robotics academy because of all the practical experience I gained, whether it was writing LabVIEW code or controlling a 2400lb air-bearing vehicle with an Xbox 360 controller. Additionally, I was surprised by all the interesting things I got to do ranging from going jetski-ing, kayaking, caving, ice skating, sitting in a Porsche 911, to seeing a Saturn V rocket, working with 2500psi air supplies, seeing a full size moving mock-up of the Mars Curiosity Rover, touching SpaceShipTwo, being under the Space Shuttle Endeavor, being almost blinded by Space Shuttle Atlantis's launch, and so on. This summer was undoubtedly an unforgettable one that I will always keep in mind."
